Construit par les Ateliers du Cap Vert, Type 11 démontre qu’avec une conception simple, on peut se procurer un agréable catamaran de voyage. Un fardage
raisonnable et sa légèreté, réduisent les efforts et permet de se contenter
d’un hors-bord. La conception est
particulièrement optimisée pour la vie au soleil avec un joli plan de pont et
un intérieur minimaliste. Le gréement efficace possède un mât-aile en bois/carbone réalisé au chantier. |
Type 11 is built by the Ateliers du Cap Vert and she
demonstrates that a simple catamaran may be a suitable boat for voyaging. Low windage and light weight reduce the loads
and an outboard engine is sufficient. The layout is optimised to live in sunny
climates with a nice deck and just what you need inside! Her efficient rig has a plywood/carbon
wingmast also done by the yard. |

Vik 115 est l'équivalent du fameux Azuli pour la construction à l'unité. On ne compte plus les traversées ni les victoires de ces catamarans simples, marins et performants. Nous avons un faible pour ce modèle qui nous a offert une inoubliable croisière en Amérique du Sud. Pour obtenir ce résultat, le carré n'offre que la hauteur assise et il faudra se contenter de hors-bords. Le gréement à mât rotatif aluminium est simple et efficace. Certains ont été munis d'un mât-aile en bois/carbone. |
Vik 115 is the sister-ship of the famous Azuli for one-off construction. These simple, seaworthy and fast catamarans
have many ocean crossings and race wins to their credit We have special
feelings for this model on which we did a fantastic South American cruise. Sitting headroom in the saloon and outboard
engines are the solutions to achieve this. Her rotating aluminium rig is simple and
efficient. Some have been fitted with a plywood/carbon wingmast. |

Outre la construction à l'unité, des éléments moulés en moules femelles sont disponibles. Le gréement et l'accastillage sont simplifiés pour limiter les coûts. |
With her huge cockpit, Vik 119
is well suited to day-charter or cruising in sunny climates. Yet, her flared hulls provide adequate
cruising accommodation while this configuration offers exceptional sailing
ability. Her construction is extremely easy with low
material cost. She can even be
assembled on the launching site. Beside one-off construction, moulded sandwich parts are now available. Rig and deck plan are simplified to control

Une étude très poussée du centrage des poids privilégie le confort en mer. Le gréement est de proportions modérées et particulièrement facile à manier avec une trinquette de brise en standard. |

can be shipped in container anywhere in the word, then definitively assembled
on the launching site. Flared hull provide a good load carrying
ability and nice volume for the 2, 3 or 4 cabins layouts. All heavy weights are amidships for

Vik 120 is directly inspired by the proven Vik
115 and Azuli whose many ocean crossings and race successes
made their reputation. The increase in length allows standing
headroom on the bridge-deck, separate aft cabins, more load and twin engines
isolated from the accommodation without compromising the beauty and sea
